About the Host City – Rio de Janeiro

The city of Rio de Janeiro is graced by land and sea creating a charming environment. His image is spread internationally showing Guanabara Bay and the mountains that make up Sugar Loaf and Corcovado. The National Park encompasses the Tijuca Forest, the world’s largest urban forest. The Tijuca Forest is home to hundreds of species of trees and wildlife, many found only in the Atlantic Forest.
