About the Host City – Rio de Janeiro
The city of Rio de Janeiro is graced by land and sea creating a charming environment. His image is spread internationally showing Guanabara Bay and the mountains that make up Sugar Loaf and Corcovado. The National Park encompasses the Tijuca Forest, the world’s largest urban forest. The Tijuca Forest is home to hundreds of species of trees and wildlife, many found only in the Atlantic Forest. Besides the natural beauty of this city, there are important aspects for the organization of international events. Twenty three international and national airlines link Rio de Janeiro to the world. Copacabana Beach is one of the most famous and also one of the most lively beach in the world with thousands of visitors flocking to its 6 kilometers, located in front of the black and white wavy mosaics on Atlantic Avenue, where the hotel that will be hold the Symposium is situated.
